Cherokee Rose Trees

It’s Spring in Atlanta and everything is in bloom.  These are the Cherokee rose trees in my neighbors yard.  My first attempt at outdoor painting.  Oil on 6 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ gessoed board.

    Great “attempt” Gary. I love the color in this. Your brush strokes are incredible!

    Beautiful painting. I think these are confederate or cotton rose trees. The Cherokee Rose is a vine.
